2025 has been a pivotal year for ONSO.

It’s been a year focused not just on adding features but on working closely with our customers to make everyday construction processes simpler, more connected and more efficient while laying the groundwork for what comes next.

Efficiency First: What We Delivered in 2025

Throughout 2025, our focus has been on improving the core workflows that construction teams rely on every day.

By working directly with customers, we’ve:

  • Improved call off orders, making long-term supplier agreements easier to manage and draw down against purchase orders
  • Enhanced reporting, giving teams clearer insight into committed and forecasted spend
  • Refined timesheets, helping site teams reduce admin and improve accuracy

These changes weren’t built in isolation. They came from real feedback, real projects and real challenges faced on live construction sites.

The result? Less friction, better visibility and systems that support how construction actually operates.

Looking Ahead: AI at the Heart of ONSO in 2026

While 2025 has been about strengthening the foundations, 2026 will be about intelligent automation.

We’re currently developing an AI-powered tool that will:

  • Automatically match invoices to purchase orders
  • Match delivery notes to what was ordered and received
  • Flag discrepancies early before they become problems

For construction teams, this means:

  • Less manual document checking
  • Faster identification of errors
  • Greater confidence in what’s been delivered versus what’s being paid

This is just the first step in how we believe AI can support the construction industry not by replacing people but by removing unnecessary admin and highlighting the information that actually matters.

Closer Collaboration in 2026

As we roll out these AI capabilities, our priority in 2026 is simple: work even more closely with our customers.

AI only delivers real value when it reflects real-world workflows. That’s why we’ll be:

  • Iterating AI features based on live customer feedback
  • Refining accuracy, usability and transparency
  • Ensuring teams remain in control, with AI supporting and not obscuring decisions

Beyond that, we’re also exploring how to better incorporate suppliers into these workflows. Construction is a collaborative industry, and smarter data sharing between contractors and suppliers has the potential to unlock significant efficiency gains across the supply chain.

Building What’s Next

2025 has shown us the power of partnership with our customers. 2026 will be about taking that partnership further using AI, data and collaboration to reduce friction and bring greater clarity to construction procurement and finance.

We’re excited about what’s ahead and we’re only just getting started.
